Notes to ContributorsThe Irish Yearbook of International Law is a peer-reviewed academic publication that provides a vehicle for the dissemination of articles and book reviews on general issues of international law. The Irish Yearbook does not have a word limit on either article, book reviews, or book review essays. The Irish Yearbook invites unsolicited submissions for consideration.Submissions to the Yearbook should be original and not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions are considered prima facie by the Editors-in-Chief, who then forward possible articles to members of the Editorial Board for peer-review. Individuals will be kept informed of the progress of their submission which will be considered in a timely fashion. The Irish Yearbook reserves the right to seek changes to submissions as a condition of acceptance. As a matter of editorial policy, the Yearbook seeks to promote a multilateral approach to international affairs, reflecting and reinforcing Ireland's long-standing commitment to multilateralism as a core element of foreign relations. Submissions Guidelines: Send queries and submissions of articles by email to the Editors: Dr. Jean Allain j.allain@qub.ac.uk and Dr Siobhán Mullally s.mullally@ucc.ie Submissions should correspond to the Hart Publishing Style Guide. Authors publishing in the Irish Yearbook receive the relevant year's volume plus electronic off-prints. Articles appear one year after publication on an electronic database. Authors will receive proofs for correction. Corrections should be kept to a minimum and deal solely with errors of type-setting. At the proof stage, authors will be requested to provide an abstract of 150-250 words, and a list of no more than 5 keywords. |
